Loading ...Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has confirmed that the group has completed the backing tracks for their ninth studio album.
During an interview at a festival in Belgium, the drummer confirmed that Metallica are getting ready to release the follow-up to 2003’s ‘St Anger’ in February 2008.
“It doesn’t sound like ‘St. Anger’ to me,” he told Studio Brussel. “It’s a little early to kind of put in a soundbite exactly. But it doesn’t sound anything like ‘St. Anger’.
“It’s probably a little more dynamic, and a little more varied, and it has lots of different nutty Metallica stuff on it.”
